1968 Porsche 911 tribute
Exactly where the original Milestone Porsche ended up remains a mystery. It doesn’t appear the team kept records of the car’s chassis number, and “last year’s race car” just wasn’t that important at the time.
In 2005, Marc Zurlinden began to build a “tribute” of Tony’s 1968 Porsche to be as authentic as the original. The team included original Milestone team members Tony Adamowicz, Mac Tilton and Don Breslauer. The chief technical force for Milestone racing in the 1968 season was Mac Tilton. They started with a bare shell and attempted to replicate every detail of the original car. After completion, Tony drove this tribute car in select vintage events.
